Letters From Ethan (Savannah, Zamunda and the Olyphant Empire)

Hey there, Sierra! It's me again, Ethan! I have had a long week! The Savannah is huge!

I also found someone who could have been my twin! Weird, isn't it?

The Savannah lion-men were pretty tough, but we got through. (Amber Rainbow and Christina helped out - Amber is still questing alongside Ethan for this world.)

Even people from Marleybone were fighting the lions! (This guy used a Cat Bandit Polymorph to one-shot the Fire Lion Ravagers.)

I managed to use my new spell on Nergal - the guy probably wet his loincloth seeing such a beast! :)

After paying my respects to King Mansa, I headed to the zebra land, Zamunda. This is very beautiful indeed, with the giant zebras flanking the doors.

I had a lot of work ahead of me, those Greyhorns don't defeat themselves! ^_^

On a brighter note, I finally got my Mega Snack garden started so I can start getting a team of useful defensive pets for later worlds. (My apologies to Dakota Earthhorn - I found his channel and he's on the UK Wizard101 server now, which is way behind in updates. I read his comments and it seems everyone wants him to quit Wizard101 because he is said to spontaneously report people. I don't know about that[I don't do PvP and never will after seeing how many enemies you can make on it], but I apologize for hating his guts. The reason I said I did was because he said that Bloodseeker, a boss in Savaarstad Pass, dropped Couch Potato seeds. I should remember that the seeds are rare, but after farming Splithoof Barbarians for a zillion hours, I finally got the six seeds I needed.)

Maybe I should invest in a new house like the one my own pen-pal, Cassandra, told me about. It might help my garden a lot. (First look at the Botanical Garden house and Celestial Wolf mount from the Evergreen Bundle! Since it has the same effect on plants as the Red Barn Farm, I might have my gardener on Christina's account redeem that instead of buying a RBF. ^_^)

Cassandra is an ice wizard and just got her first special spell, Ice Trap. I hope she can become as great a Thaumaturge as Wizard Mercury! (I've been using Cassandra Frosthammer[my 3rd Ice Wizard after Amy - am working to make her work out better than Amy did] and Leesha[a Fire Wizard] to train pets so I can get Jade Pets with all the special resistance talents. So far I got one talent - a Dragon with Unbalancer. All the pets Cass trained gain selfish talents or stuff I don't need. I have been using friend ports to have these two train up pets before Level 7, which is when you unlock the Pet Pavilion.)

But I had to fund the money for their mounts, so I spent a few days in Wintertusk fighting mobs. (He also helped Amber Rainbow knock out all the sidequests - except for Frostbranch, I hate that guy - in Wintertusk. It was enough to buy permanent Enchanted Brooms - temp mounts until I am rich and can buy Crowns all I want. It will work.)

I helped the people of Zamunda in the alternate timeline out. Tse-Tse Snaketail was really dense to think anyone would be fooled by painting rhinos to look like zebras! XD

Although I will probably replace Lady Rusty, she (it?) helps out a lot by using Healing Current on me. I might breed her(ick) to get that ability to another pet with better talents. (Until I can hatch with someone and get their Fairy Friend talent, Energizing Battery is the way to go. ^_^)

I noticed a lot of students from Ravenwood helping the Zebras fight the Olyphants. I know you had stopped the in-fighting in our world and it was my job to help stop the infighting in this world! (As a side note, the two wizard girls to the right are both called Sarah with no last name. :i)

I watched the evil magician Tse-Tse steal the power from Zetu Zebu, I felt helpless as I could do nothing to stop this from happening even though I had known about it from your adventures. I guess fate has a way of preventing us from changing certain events.

I met Shaka Zebu and brought him to his senses with the Quagga Blade, which I returned to him. (Aka, I sold the weapon ASAP after this battle. Did a ton of damage with Gnomes!)

Your friend, Grace, told me she will help me get to Archmage status and was my guide to Stone Town. Even though we were on the alternate time-line, she told me that this world felt as much as home to her as her own. I asked Grace about it later.

"He has gained my trust, Mma," she replied. "I feel like it is time we help him out. If he is to join our team, we must show him how to work with us." I nodded. (Grace is my most powerful wizard, of course I had to use her to help Ethan [and to a lesser extent Amber as well] to get through Zafaria. She has been helping get them through the Olyphant areas, Stone Town and Waterfront.)

She was very helpful in dealing with that trader, Belloq. She told me to attack with my wand while she set up a big hit. (I had Grace teleport into battle as soon as it started and no extra Greyhorns show up to make my life a misery. Even so, the battle was tense as Amber has been fizzling her attacks lately. I had packed 4-pip spells to keep the pressure on Belloq but Ethan fizzled a Seraph! :( Still, two Tempests were enough to win the battle.)

I heard from Vir Goodheart that Rasik is working from the Black Stone Palace. I will write soon as I have to work on a surprise for you! 6_^ Love, Ethan Jadeshade

A surprise? I wonder what it could be?
