Well, I've defeated Malistaire (with help, of course) and I felt ecstasy and regret. I wonder if that's how you felt long ago. (I did feel that way, but Morganthe is more a threat now.) It was a hard trek through the Great Spyre but I did it. But I got ahead of myself...
I got to Dragonspyre Academy and got the emblem to prove I was worthy of being in the place. I met Ashley, she is very nice.
I collected the Perfect Crystal for my Dragon Riding staff and forged the dragon-head of the staff. Oh, that blade I have was something I found after defeating Dean Darkflame, it was his weapon. I decided to use it for the time being. (Sky Iron Hastas are a dime a dozen now, and I got this as a drop from Vlad after defeating him so I am using it for now. I might make it his official transmog - it looks pretty sweet. ^_^)
Along the way, I became a Journeyman Gardener and Master Artisan, so now I can craft the items that your friend wanted me to - when I am rich enough. I never have enough money. I heard there is a ghostly boar I can challenge again and again to get items for selling that are worth a lot, so I will have to look into that when I get to Wintertusk.
I eventually got my own battle-drake and geared him up, and flew to the Dragon's Spyre to face the warlock himself. It was intense! I won't bore you with my adventures to reach Malistaire, I am sure not to cheapen the experience you had.
I will say the encounter with Malistaire was intense. I nearly got killed but I kept fighting to see your smiling face. Me and the people I was with eventually defeated him and I saw how sad he was as a ghost and how Sylvia comforted him. I wonder if we will be as deeply in love as that, I know I am so deeply in love with you. (I sighed. I didn't want to admit it, but I did love him deeply enough to test him and make sure he wasn't going to join us until he was ready.) (I have to confess, Grace aided him in the last parts of Dragonspyre. A double-bladed Storm Lord from her one-shots everything under 6000 HP. ^_^ Also, Ethan got his Grandmaster Ring from Gurtok Piercer as a drop and only used the Second Chance Chest from Gurtok Firetusk once to get his Grandmaster Athame so now he has +20% chance to get a Power Pip, which will be vital when he learns Forest Lord.)
As I was resting, I learned that one of the guards in Wizard City had disappeared in a place called Briskbreeze Tower. I went there and dealt with a bunch of evil demons to rescue him. He told me about how a great evil was coming and Krokotopia was the start. I delivered the keys to the Headmaster and told him of what happened, and he told me he would find someone to decipher the meaning of Orrick Nightglider's attack. (Grace helped him with Angus Hollowsoul and Orin Grimcaster too. I was lucky - there were 16 Quench Treasure Cards in stock and I bought them out. That made the Exploding Ember unable to attack until Leviathan destroyed the evil scarecrow and Orrick only got one uber Heckhound out before a Supercharged Tempest finished him - he didn't summon his iron golems before he died.)
After that, I had to deal with some Grendel called Jotun to help the people of Grizzleheim. Then I had to deal with these Raven warlocks called the Coven. You told me a bit about them during our travels together, but I didn't realize how nasty they were! (I sneered. I hoped they never came back.)
I then got a Spiral Key from Halston to go to Celestia. He told me about you and I am impressed. I went there and dealt with some rogue Crustaceans.
(Unfortunately, I lost the screen of GR. ;_______;) |
[Letters End for now]
