Letters from Ethan (Celestia and Wintertusk Part 2)

(I apologize if you are hoping for a Sierra update soon - I promise I will try to get them through Avalon as soon as I get Ethan to Zafaria - he'll have to deal with the Jabberwock but I don't want him to deal with Young Morganthe without a trustworthy group since that fight is a... YKW. :( Anyways, I do get some good progress on him this week. I promise Sierra will show up again in future updates. Enjoy!)

Dear Sierra:

I just got a deed to a plot of land in Zafaria which has a cargo boat on it. I was told that the boat once belonged to a vile Blacktusk smuggler who was shipping cursed black rock to Stone Town with it but you stopped it cold. The boat is no longer functioning because the boiler was removed, but it's still intact and can drift on the water were it not tethered tightly to the pier. You are amazing and I wonder if you gave it to me as a gift. ^_^

(I did not, but I think I know who set that up. I will have to talk to Grace later.)

(KI put out this new wizard house in the Crown Shop! It's my dream house, a jungle house boat on a pier in what looks to be a Zafarian river. This is awesome, I have been WAITING for KI to give me a Zafaria-theme house and now they have! And it's yours for the low low price of 50 grand. Yes, you can pay for it in gold as well as 5000 Crowns. KI gave me an early birthday present! [My birthday is December 6th.] I HAD to get it for Ethan Jadeshade.)

I sent you a picture of my new hair-clip - Zeke's wife(I am guessing they are married but I am polite not to ask Eloise Merryweather about that!) stitched my new helm I crafted[someone suggested checking the Grand Arena for parchment about and I found a ton, enough to get the last three Ancient Scrolls - Amy was kind enough to help me gather the needed Frost Flowers] into it. I didn't want to look like a Viking like one of my questing buddies, Chris Storycrafter, did briefly before I escorted him to Eloise. I am suppressing a snicker.) (I can't! *snof* XD) (Finally got some decent Wintertusk gear for my avatar thanks to Grace taking time to go to Sudrilund so Chris got the helm and robe recipes from the Raven there. I didn't get the boots recipe because it gives universal resistance but the United Footwear gives better fire/ice/storm resist and better stats. I tried to get Chris through Waterworks but the group he teamed up with broke up after the second mob fight. :( )

With my new gear and Chris's new gear, we were able to clear up Austrilund's problems. He then helped me with Stormriven, which was horrid but we made it through. (This was the part I left my avatar hanging, and I needed him to get through Celestia too. He's my avatar here in Wizard101 even if he scowls all the time.)

One of the Bears, a runic sorcerer called Erik, gave me some new spells which might help out. After I defeated a RAven in Mirkholm Keep, he gave me a spell to remove hanging effects, and after defeating a nasty Grendel Shaman in Sudrilund, I got a spell to boost my healing powers. (I didn't realize that Ethan hadn't completed the Level 35 spell quest, so I had to do that and it was much easier at Level 64. :p I did buy a couple of henchmen[with some crowns I had gotten - I spent 700 Crowns to help Amber with her Level 68 spell quest, but I could have held off a bit] for the other quest, which was not worth it as he gets Brilliant Light, which is a group-all heal charm. Triage will be vital in some later fights which love to use gimmick DoTs.)

I explored the Lunarium and installed the Moon Relic, then took a side-trip to Vestrilund and met with Vestri, Austri's brother. Wintertusk is chilly but amazing. (And it's getting cold here in Texas too, brrrrr!)

Blad told me the Waterworks were acting up again, so I went down there and fixed it, though I had a bit of trouble along the way. (And no Waterworks gear for Ethan - who had some help with Grace. Well, at least he got his boots crafted now. And that was a Spinysaur TC.)

I managed to meet Sudri and Nordri and complete my travels of Wintertusk, as well as explore the rest of Celestia. I have to install the Sun Relic and take the Trial of the Spheres, but I should be writing from your friend's home-world soon. Ciao for now! -- Ethan

I put the letter away and focused on my own tasks. I can't wait for Ethan to join us.
