(I was going to wait until after Sierra got to Krokotopia to start two-boxing but Colossus and Crab Alley require a lot of mob kills and the more enemies I get in a battle, the quicker the quest goes. EDIT: I also had noticed that one sentence was incomplete, and thus the date of this post is inaccurate, my bad. Bad blogger, not proofing your posts! <_>)
Level 12 came and went for me and I got my second spell from Ivan as I had killed Professor Drake's guardian troll, which peeved the professor off, but Ivan was nice and helped me get the power of Mythblade, so now my Cyclops do more damage! And I got the words of power for that spell from a centaur. I wonder if Life and Myth are inter-connected?
YOU ARE WINNER!!! |
(Yeah, both battle talents were selfish talents which were useless in battle, but they did our Wildclaw well in the Pet Derby. He got first place and we got two arena tickets. I will probably work on getting the Pet Derby Warlord badge for Sierra, but not PvP as PvP is tough.)
I got a Damp Demon from the shared bank and finally found some lovely clothes which will be my permanent gear outlook. All the better gear will be stitched into these duds! 6_^
I also started adventuring with a Diviner called Grace Rainsmith. She speaks in a deep accent and talks about being a private detective, but she will be most helpful with her storm spells when I fight more of those giants to get my Blood of Giants badge. Her pet had an amazing ability to call fellow Sirens that wrecked s---(oh my, I must mind my language!) and took names!
I made peace with the Gobbler King and then took down the fake king in Crab Alley, Amaded, putting King Thermidor back on his throne and making sure the Storm Batteries were fixed - we need to keep the Storm Mill running or else Wizard City could be defenseless! I had to get the Spiral Key to Krokotopia or this Malistaire person would make these events seem like child bully fights in comparison! Oh noes!!!
I had some help defeating Foulgaze, the ghost who had taken over Sapphyra's Tower, but I single-handedly defeated Lord Nightshade... well, my Living Puppet helped out and did the final blow with a Myth Trap helping boost Blood Bat's spittle. Ew, what a way to go!
I got all of the books for Boris Tallstaff, who gave me a free ring and athame. The ring was sold but the athame was kept - it gave my health and mana a huge boost. I had to sell the athame Merle Ambrose gave me, but he also gave me the key to Krokotopia!
(The author wishes to ask forgiveness for his 6-year old drawing of a Spiral Key. He is not a graphic artist.) |
Why is a Transcendant Theurgist in Krokotopia? Gnomes! is overkill. :-( |
Well, right now I have to rest a bit but me and Grace will take on the Pyramid of the Sun together and do it on 40 gold a day, or something like that. Frugality forever! ^_^

ReplyDeleteYeah, I am a stinkin' hypocrite. Don't ever listen to what I wrote years ago. Since then, Sierra changed her clothes constantly and even her hair. Recently she got makeup and glasses. XD
You can always improve your look.
