I am an obsessive-compulsive tightwad.

People who know me think that I am a worry-wart about money. They tease me and call me "Angela Unicorn-Pants", after that famous wizard who was hosted by the Friendly Necromancer that went through the entire Malistaire story without donning a single piece of gear, wand or deck. (Though he showed everyone up when he managed to solo Malistaire and defeat him with the help of three Reshuffles and his minion.) Some gave pity on me and gifted me packs and stuff, to which I would smile and sell it or feed it to my pet. I will continue to fight with tight-wad iron fist after that debacle buying five Knight's Lore packs and getting nothing but a set of iron boots that slow me down and have a card that clogs my deck since I won't get a Damage Over Time spell until Zafaria.

My Creator was not always this way. He used to spend lavishly on game cards and bundles and pampered his wizards with fine houses and special gear and Ninja/Knight Lore Packs.

But one day, he read a book by a famous sorceress called Amy Daycyczyn, who was called the "Frugal Zealot." In this book, Amy gave a list of articles from a newsletter she had written about how to save money, and my Creator realized something.

He had been flushing money down the drain when there were so many cheaper alternatives to questing. His own Amy, an Ice Wizard who is now Level 85 at the time of this writing, got to Azteca with the help of henchmen, 10000 Crowns worth! Could she have gotten to this world as fast had she been forced to rely on friends alone?

Then he came upon all sorts of houses and found that he could afford a Red Barn Farm, which is a necessity to any wizard gardening for a living, with just gold and not shell out any Crowns. He had been buying houses with gold and he had a vision - he had always wanted a challenge, and decided to challenge himself by having a wizard own a Red Barn Farm (to make garden reagents much easier) and all three of the craft-able houses.

Yes, all THREE of them. Add in the cost of the farm and that's over half a million gold from recipes alone! (Actually, 320 grand, but it's still a lot.) He spent crowns on me to feed me an Extra Castle Elixir so I could own four houses, because I couldn't craft another house if I had a Barn Farm and two of the houses, that would use my limit up.

He came up with the crazy notion that, if Amy the Frugal Zealot could save up enough money to move to a rural barn farmhouse with attached barn and raise six kids, he could have a wizard own all three craft-able houses, own a zoo of pets and a beautiful garden which would vomit out rare amber and mega snacks for his other wizards like Chris Storycrafter and Amber Rainbow. When his father let him spend two weeks of allowance on a card that gave me Bentley, my Wildclaw, it began.

It's gonna be a long road, folks... I can't even get to the clockwork golems, the wooden constructs ganged up on me.

And so, I was created. My name is Sierra Fairyfriend, and I am a tightwad conjurer. Wish me luck.
