Session 1: Unicorn Way to Cyclops Alley

(Author's note: Since I forgot to update right after my first session with Sierra, I decided to go in Sessions instead of days. This session took play on the 27th. Oops.)

My name is Sierra Fairyfriend and I am a frugal wizard, a literal tightwad. I was determine to show everyone that Crowns can't buy happiness and one can save for a Red Barn Farm and three special houses. I drank a elixir to get the ability to own four houses as there are three houses you can make with crafting and I wanted the Red Barn Farm as my main house as I was planning on having two gardens - one for Mega Snacks and one for rare reagents like Amber and Sunstone.

That was far in the future, though - right now I had to talk to Zeke and get his first scavenger hunt.

My Creator, Raltsmaster, is keeping a list of all the quests I take on and listing how much EXP and gold you get from them, just for reference. It will be a daunting task as there are a million quests, but he feels like it can help people figure out how many levels they will gain from exploring all the quests and side-quests in the world. He's also working with me and Mindy to figure out all the experience and rewards from doing quests for my professor, Cyrus.

I gathered as many reagents as I could, knowing they would be vital in the future.

Apologies for the butt-shot of Lady Oriel - stupid event camera for the Sprite event caused it to swivel.
I completed all the quests and side-quests in Unicorn Way and got 80% of the way to Level 5.

Here are all the furnishings Mindy got from the Knight's Lore packs

I took on the crafting quests immediately and, while I had to put the station in the middle of my dorm room, I became a Novice Crafter and immediately bought the recipe for the stack of wood - I would need 30 stacks of wood when I got the recipe for my first craft-able house.

I fed my awful knight boots to my Wildclaw when I got better ones, and got this nice lotus for a later quest. It's always good to feed stuff to your pets no matter how inedible - until I started gardening, this would be my main method of getting rare reagents.

My first minion wasn't too bad - he did bust my Myth Traps now and then but his other spells worked well and complemented my Antiquated Wand spells - yes, I used the wand that gave one-pip spells, because I needed a lot of strong attacks until I hit Initiate Conjurer.

I reached Level 6 and took battle training under Diego and shortly later, as I was starting my visit of the Three Streets, I hit Level 7 and Professor Drake made me go on wild goose chases. I knew he wanted me to quit studying but he's got another thing coming! I ain't quitting my life as a Tightwad Conjurer, no siree! You'd have to rip me to bloody shreds! Er... nevermind, just enjoy this picture of the unicorn which gave me my first Words of Power. Get out of the way, idjit! <_>

(Sierra got the Troll minion, but is keeping both minions in her deck as the Living Puppet still does decent damage at this point and draws hate away from her.)

I heard some wizards were having open houses on their houses, so I visited them and started taking notes for my own Red Barn Farm when I got it. ^_^

I also got some free treasures from weird places, including a magic genie lamp! (Author: It's really neat that I could get the freebies from the Atlantean Bundle fishbowl, the Sun Palace gorilla, and the Sultan's Palace genie lamp and KI didn't disable these things. Sierra got some medium-range pet snacks and common reagents as well as some gold. Since some of these houses are now retired, it is nice to get to at least enjoy the fun stuff in them thanks to Castle Tours. I hope to find a house with the Pagoda or Hall, but I may have to wait a bit because it would be difficult to solo these instances.)

Bentley enjoyed the pet cannon games and became well-trained. (Yeah, got a selfish talent, but I don't care about the talents for Bentley as he's not going to be my go-to pet by the end. In fact, I might use the Myth Sprite that Sierra got from Rattlebones - first drop! - as I don't want pet cards clogging my hand when I duel unless they are good ones like Dragonblade.)

I helped the Fire Elves in Firecat Alley and defeated the Harvest Lord and Kraken in Triton Avenue with the help of my new Cyclops spell. It will be a struggle to build up three pips but I became Initiate and was able to equip the axe I was gifted, the Axe of Winter's Bane, which gives me a free pip and a couple of good attacks. I will not stop being a tightwad, ever. Even if people call me mean names, they will be jealous when they I let them tour my lovely homes with tons of pets and decor while they are out a zillion crowns for theirs. ^_^

Sierra's Stats at the end of session one
[Session 1 Ends: Sierra has cleared all the quests in Firecat Alley and Triton Avenue, and just has to defeat the Cyclops generals in Cyclops Lane before she goes on to the end-game of Wizard City.]
