Sierra enters Mapleworld! (A brief explanation)
I apologize for not updating my blog but... *sobs*
I HAVE BECOME A MAPLER. ;_;
Yep, I have signed up for Maplestory, a 2D side-scrolling MMORPG created by Wizet, a Korean game company. For those of you in the know, Maplestory was the first Free-to-Play MMORPG before Wizard101 was even an idea, back in 2006 or something.
It has many more advantages over Wizard101, like every area in the game being accessible, leaving the game on for moons and not getting booted off, and you can get to max level without having to pay a single Nexon Point (That's Maplestory's version of Crowns.)
However...
IN NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM AM I LEAVING WIZARD101!!!!
After investing so much time and money into my Fearless Four(Ethan, Sierra, Grace and Christina) I am not going to quit until the Third Arc is over, so I will play Wizard101 off and on but when I have time, I will be playing Maplestory. Since it's quick and easy to get to Level 250(that's the level cap of that game - and I sense Wizard101 will hit that cap too in a few years), I can insert it between Wiz sessions. I will end this blog with Castle Darkmoor, though.
So Sierra and her friends will finish Avalon, Azteca and Khrysalis before Spring 2015, I promise.
I'll update the final part of Avalon's quests soon, keep watching this blog! ^_^

As much as I loved MapleStory, I am sad to say I cannot play that game anymore - the launcher keeps crashing and it takes a lot of farming to get anything good.
ReplyDeleteI tried to replay MapleStory a few times especially when they promoted the final battle with the Black Mage, but I never reached the Black Mage because MapleStory's difficulty shoots up horribly and it's impossible to kit up there because it's a far worse grindfest of tough bosses and you can't team up, you have to solo everything, which sucks. I have decided to abandon that Korean MMO forever, which is sad as I liked the graphics. :(
ReplyDeleteOf course, I do plan on getting to Polaris some day.
